Back to a little climbing …… have I still got it , NO!!!

The past year or two has seen a few routes being sent and an adventure or two in remembering what I am doing !  a long lay off defintely isnt good for the nerves but a crag day or three helped to steady the shakey leg before venturing further and a few good ascents were had. Some pictured below including the Souter, a route Colin and I climbed a long time ago and on the beta from some random at the crag. We found it very hard that day, no F***ing wonder as guidebook in hand this year I saw that we had started the HVS and then went off route to finish up the E3 crux …. if that happend today I would be screaming for the mountain rescue to come get me 😀 luckily back then we had brawn and no brains so got to the top with a few scary moments and lot of bad language. However this year armed instead with brains and no brawn I lead the classic route up the Souter, a scary HVS smoothly and confidently accompanied by Michael Heyward leader of the BCC … cheers mate.

I  will try to be a better blogger again soon but until then , heres a few snaps below…. 😀
